Top 10 banned films worldwide and you may never think about watching in Malaysia

Good evening readers. 

Today, Manuel Smith here is having a chat about these films that you will never think about watching legally worldwide. 

What I am going to talk is 10 banned films worldwide that not not only Leng yein and her fans, including Moon and Soo Meen the Miss Astro champions and haters dismiss it, while dear Rachel Tan the legal eagle and film producer, along with Denise Camillia, and 1Malaysian goddess, Serene Lim, as well as dear Juliette, Louisa and Crystal these real universal suffrage Miss Hong Kong champions will reject these films, believing these films are total and complete unacceptable for then to view. 

Now, I am going to talk these films that you will never think about watching this worldwide, including Malaysia, thanks to censorship in Malaysia. 

Salo, or 120 days of Sodom (1975)       

The highly controversial LGBT-related anti fascist political horror art film ,which is the last film of Pier Paolo Pasolini, a prominent LGBT anti-consumerist atheist film director, received extreme controversy in the world. Not to the LGBT issue, but because of the elements involving in rape, BDSM, and pedophilia, in which they are predominantly younger than 18, an age of majority around the world. The film received mixed reviews and gained 72% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 28 reviews. Pasolini was murdered in 2 November of 1975, three weeks before the film's premiere in Paris. Pasolini here is an established major figure in European literature and cinemtic art, despite controversial among the taboo in the film. His murder received outcry and became a heated debate, as well as in 2017. This film is distributed by United Artists and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in present day, since the purchase of UA by MGM in 1981, and became in name only subsidiary. This film depicts the horrendous of fascism and Nazism that is banned in Germany, the leading smacking ban soccer and motorsport nation leaded by Angela Merkel, the new leader of the free world. 

Guinea Pig series (1985-1988)

To any people don't know that, Guinea pig is an idiom for human subject research. Legality of guinea pig varies as long as it's 100% medically and scientifically accurate and approved by government.. The Guinea Pig series are horror series consisting of six films, created by Hideshi Hino based on his own manga, that gained notoriety when Guinea Pig 4: Devil Woman Doctor videotape was found in place of Japanese serial killer, Tsutomi Miyazaki, whom he was sentenced to death by hanging in 2008 for murder. About the Guinea Pig 6, Mermaid in a Manhole it depicts an artist uses a mermaid as drawing that he came across to her when he was a boy to cope the loneliness of him since the death of hs wife. The large rivers that he met the mermaid  is now a sewer thanks to the industrial pollution and she is stuck and infected, that gives a horrendous look before she dies. The film gained news in  1991, when Carlos Estevez, aka Charlie Sheen, had received a copy of series from   Christopher Patrick Gore, a film personality, that Sheen reported to Federal Bureau of Investigations when he mistakenly believed it's a genuine snuff film, that he hater received a notice from FBI agent, Dan Codling that FBI and Japanese police force were investigating the filmmakers and these filmmakers were summoned to court as a proof of fake special effects among these films.  

Baise-moi (2000)

Baise-moi means Fuck Me in French language, This French film by Canal+ and directed by Virginie Despentes and Coralie Trinh Thi, prominent adult film writer, this film depicts two women, played by Karen Lancaume, the late French Arab porn actress, and Raffaëla Anderson, the Berber porn actress, went on revenge for being marginalized among the society and met with disaster. This film is banned in Malaysia, Singapore and Australia for extreme graphic violence and sexuality, which this film may uncomfortable to viewers regardless of race, language, religiousness, sexual orientation, age, and so on.  This film is in New French Extremism thanks to the violent and sex depicted in this film. This film gained negative reviews from critics and gained 27% on Rotten Tomatoes. 

Irreversible (2002)

Directed by Gasper Noe,  This French film here that stars Monica Bellucci, Vincent Calussi and Albert Dupontel, depicits the homophobic horror society combination of psychological mystery. The 30 minutes films beginning here, was controversial, while hundreds of audiences started to leave after they watched nearly 10 minutes of rape scenes, while the violent scenes among the fire extinguisher used to beat a man to his death was shocking among viewers during the premiere of 2002 Cannes Film Festival, when Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh was the judge. This film gained mixed reviews and rated 57% at Rotten Tomatoes, based on 120 reviews. Thanks to homophobic issue, this film is ranked as New French Extremism, along with Baise-moi. Bellucci here ranked prominence as Persephone in The Matrix series by the Wachowskis, and also Lucia Sciarra in Spectre a James Bond film that features Ralph Fiennes as new M, following the death of Judo Dench's M in Skyfall.  

Caligula (1979)

Caligula is described as horror tyrant in Western society, along with Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini during World War II,as well as Kim dynasty in modern day Asia. Released in 1979 and stars Malcolm McDowell and Dame Helen Mirrel Minoroff the prominent English-Russian atheist actress, this film depicts Caligula as a violent tyrannical and lust emperor shortly after taking over the emperor, that his deeds leads himself faces the music by being killed by Chaerea, along with his wife and daughter. Claudius is named as Emperor and fixed the stranded relationship of elders and Emperor. An Italian-American co-production, this film is a LGBT pornographic historical and political drama film by Penthouse, that is also an exploitation film. This film received negative reviews and described as "sickening, utterly worthless and shameful trash" by prominent film critic, Roger Ebert, whom he was a winner of Pulitzer Prize for Criticism,  that was deceased in 2013 thanks to cancer, and rated 25% at Rotten Tomatoes. Helen Mirren later appeared in Red series as Victoria Winsloe, as well as in The Hundred Foot Journey, Eye in the Sky, the high ranking British thriller film, well plus blockbuster film, The Fate of the Furious as Magdaline Shaw, mother of Owen and Deckard Shaw. This film is a cult classic. 

In the Realm of the Senses (1976) 

The Franco-Japanese co-production LGBT art house horror film that stars Eiko Matsuda as Sara Abe and Tatsuya Fuji as Kichizo Ishida here, depicts a murder case of a geisha, named Sada Abe, where Abe here murdered the hotel owner, Kichizo Ishida during BDSM course, and castrated him, writing "Sara Kichi the two of us forever". Sara here was sentenced to 6 years in prison but commuted and went on to write an autobiography before her death in 1970s. This film was controversial in Japan that led a ban in Japan, Singapore, Ireland, and Finland. It has 85% on Rotten Tomatoes. 

The Baby of Macon (1993) 

This film that stars Ralph Fiennes as second time lead after Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights and later known for Amon Göth in Academy's winning Schindler's List, as well as Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter series, Criolanus as title's lead in his post Harry Potter career and directorial debut, Gareth Mallory in Skyfall and Spectre, Award winning The Grand Budapest Hotel and The Lego Batman Movie as voice of Alfred Pennyworth, and directed by Peter Greenaway, depicits the rape in village of Macon, while it depicits the baby here when a virgin gave birth to a baby girl, and the disaster begins when the Bishop"s Son is killed by a bull commanded by Baby and the Daughter suffocated the Baby and sentenced to be raped 208 times before her death and the famine falls again in Macon. This film depicts corruption in all levels of society. 

The Last House on the left (1972) 

The Last House on the Left, directed by late Wes Craven  (dead in 2015 thanks to brain cancer) as his directorial debut,  and stars Sandra Peabody, it depicts two girls here are abducted by four murderous thugs,  that when Mari was dead, her family decided to take revenge on violent way.  Distributed by Orion Pictures, an MGM company, this film is a modern day influence of American slasher films and this film has a remake in 2009 by Rogue Pictures and Universal Pictures, with mixed reviews. 

Audition (1999) 

Audition, created by Ryu Murakami as novel in 1997 and directed by Takashi Miike in 1999, depicts a widow, Shigeharu Aoyama, an ageing widow, decided to look for a new date under the request of 17 years old son, Shigehiko. Yasuhisa Yoshikawa, a film producer and Shigaheru's personal friend, decides to have a audition on new date to him, and he is impressed to Asami Yamazaki, a lovely lady that he is enchanted. 

People will think that it's a romantic idol film, in which it's actually a horror film because the female lead here, has a horrible past that she is a victim of child abuse when her parents divorced and constantly abused by her stepfather when she was a girl. This film here is one of 10's best in 2000 that contains suspense and mystery behind soft comedy when Asami here started torture the lead before she met a horrible end, by being kicked to her death from his son and breaking her neck. This film has 80% certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, being one of Japanese films to receive it. Takashi Miike layer won two awards at the Rotterdam International Film Festival. Miike here is a talented director, not only violence and bizzare stylec, but also dramas and family friendly. 

I Spit on Your Grave (1978) 

This feminist rape and revenge exploitation film that stars Camille Keaton as Jennifer Hills and directed by Mier Zarchi the Israeli American film director, depicts the female lead, Jennifer, a Manhattan writer whom herself was gang raped by four mens and ldanes her for dead during summer vacation. Hills decoded to revenge on these men in violent methods. The films here was controversial and being one of worst film ever made, despite it is cult classic. Time ranked this film as "Top 10 Ridiculously Violent Movies".This film was remade with two sequels in 2010, 2013 and 2015, by Anchor Bay Films with negative reviews. 

At last, I am going to introduce some of horror films not in Top 10, including Herman Yau-Anthony Wong's horror trilogy, The Human Centipede series by Tom Six,bDream Home that stars Josie Ho, and Battle Royale series.
